Test Drive E3.series for Panel
E3.panel, part of the E3.series system, is dynamically integrated with the E3.series schematic module. Work can begin either in the panel or the schematic and changes in one view are immediately reflected in both modules. Users can easily navigate between the panel and schematic and the intelligent tool ensures all components in the schematic get placed in the panel.
Design Physical Panels and Cabinets
Working in either 2D or 3D, E3.panel allows engineers to layout components inside panel enclosures. Intelligent automatic snapping points allow parts to be easily placed in their correct location, and with keep-out and height restrictions shown in 2D and 3D, it is also possible to prevent clashes. The ease-of-use means electrical engineers can leverage an electrical environment to complete their panel design.
Optional Panel Wire Routing
To ensure the electrical engineer can complete the entire electrical design, there is an optional auto-routing module for E3.panel. Because signal logic is transferred from the schematic, all the wires can be shown in the panel and the wires can be automatically routed through ducts in the panel, taking into account the shortest route and any segregation requirements. Duct fill capacity is controlled and checked. The length of each wire is calculated and with dedicated links to wire preparation machines wires can be cut stripped, crimped and marked automatically.
