The Digital Engineering Approach
By: Chad Jackson

We have examined systems development in great detail over the last few months. We introduced variations of the digital engineering approach and discussed how each one could aid the development process. For example, systems simulation can power digital engineering and how the digital thread brings traceability to the design of E/E systems. We also introduced the concept of engineering co-design.

Digital Engineering for Electrical & Electronic Design

This eBook describes an MBSE based process for Electrical and Electronic design. The eBook begins with model content and structure with the purpose of implementation and the need for a “design envelope”.

The biggest challenge in MBSE gaining broad adoption is making the model relevant through the product life cycle. Learn how you can overcome this daunting hurdle while maintaining the model as the single source of truth.

Let GENESYS 2020 R2 Amplify Your Model Communication
By: Zane Scott , Vitech Corporation

The main purpose of a systems engineering tool is to augment the work of the systems engineer by providing a framework in which to construct a model of the system. This helps in two major ways. It allows the tool to do the record keeping, assuring the consistency and completeness of the model. In addition, it frees the engineer to do the work of actual design and it makes it possible for the tool to auto-generate and maintain the variety of views into the model data that are the way the engineer can communicate into and out of the model. We like to say that with GENESYS, the tool does the bookkeeping, and you do the engineering.

CR-8000
CR-8000 Design Force “Rules by Area” for those Dense Areas of the PCB
During the design cycle of a PCB, there may be times when the designer needs to loosen the rules to route in a dense area in their design. The way to do this is to create a “Rule Area” that will call for different design rules in the enclosed area. Helping Designer achieve 100 percent routing in a dense area of the PCB...

E3.series
How to Use the Harness Builder for E3.series Additional Parts Feature
How to use the additional parts feature of Harness Builder for E3.series to aid in the harness drawing process. While creating our harness designs in E3.series we may want to include additional accessories for our devices. For example, with connectors, we might want to include things like wedge locks, back shells, dust caps, mounting accessories, heat shields, etc...

Wire Harness Manufacturing from Cost Estimates to Testing

Join Zuken and Chris for this joint webinar. Wire harness manufacturers need a simple and quick process to create the wire harness design, estimate cost and generate quotations with manufacturing build documentation. Many manufacturers today are using manual processes that are time-consuming and error-prone. Harness Builder for E3.series is a low-cost product built for the harness manufacturer to automate many of those manual processes while eliminating errors and lowering costs.
