Vitech Joins Zuken Innovation World 2020
April 27-30 in San Diego, CA
Zuken USA is happy to announce that Vitech Corporation, a leader in MBSE methodology, and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zuken, will be joining ZIW Americas 2020. The entire Vitech community is invited to attend and we look forward to seeing all of you in San Diego.

The Vitech user community consists primarily of systems engineers. To best serve this demographic, ZIW will feature a new track dedicated to the topic of Digital Engineering. This new track will not only cover MBSE methodologies but also demonstrate how an MBSE design process extends to electrical and electronic subsystem design. This new track is open to all attendees.

This is an exciting new addition to ZIW Americas 2020! We look forward to seeing you in San Diego.

Be First to Market with DDR5! Here’s How… Presented by Zuken and Keysight Technologies
DDR5 is the latest generation of memory in development, doubling the peak data rate to 6400 MT/s (compared to DDR4).  With great technical ambitions come much tighter specifications for system PCB designers; Especially when faced with channel loss, skew, reflections and crosstalk, all of which become much more significant at higher frequencies.  In fact, PCB design margins are so minimal that DDR5 introduces equalization on the commodity DRAM chips, for the first time.

Don’t Put the Cart Before the Horse: Questions to Ask Before You Begin MBSE
By: Zane Scott
Often—and more often than one might think—we hear statements from customers and prospects along the lines of, “I heard MBSE would help us—it’s the latest thing. I hear that Tool X is the ‘industry standard.’ It’s cheap/simple/used by organization Y. If you buy tool X and start building models, it will do systems engineering for you.” This package of statements contains a number of misconceptions that get the speaker and his organization off to a bad start on an important journey.
